Privacy Policy

The short version: B4TRACK does its work entirely on your device. We do not run servers that receive your links, we do not require an account, and we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. There is nothing to leak because nothing ever leaves your device.
1. Who we are
B4TRACK is a free tool that strips tracking parameters (such as utm_source, fbclid, and gclid) out of URLs so you can share clean, private links. It is available as a web app and as a mobile app. This policy applies to the B4TRACK website and apps (together, the "Service").
2. Data we collect
None. B4TRACK is built to be privacy-first, and that starts with collecting nothing:
- We do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address.
- We do not have a server that receives, logs, or processes the URLs you clean.
- We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking scripts.
- We do not build a profile of you or sell data to anyone.
3. How your links are processed
All URL cleaning happens locally, in your browser or on your phone. When you paste or share a link, your device compares it against a built-in list of known tracking parameters and removes them. The link never travels to us or to any third party during this process.
4. Information stored on your device
To make the Service useful, B4TRACK may store some information on your own device only — for example, your cleaning history and your preferences (such as auto-clean settings). This data lives in your browser's localStorage or your app's local storage. It stays on your device, we cannot see it, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser/app data or using the in-app controls.
5. Permissions (mobile app)
The mobile app may request access to your clipboard or the system share sheet so it can read a link you want to clean and hand back a cleaned version. This access is used only at the moment you ask B4TRACK to clean a link. Clipboard contents are processed on-device and are not transmitted anywhere.
6. Third-party services
The B4TRACK website loads a small number of third-party resources to render this page — for example web fonts and a styling library from public content-delivery networks. These providers may receive standard technical request information (like your IP address and browser type) as part of delivering those files, as happens with any website. We do not control and are not responsible for their practices, and none of your links or cleaning activity is shared with them. Links you choose to open (such as the app, Google Play, or GitHub) are governed by those destinations' own privacy policies.
7. Children's privacy
B4TRACK does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly gather information about them.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the Service works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Because we collect no contact information, we cannot notify you individually — please check back here for the current version.
